For nearly a month, I have been quietly sitting on the news of being awarded the #1 Best Photographer in Morris County by The Daily Record’s Best of the Best Readers Choice Awards 2017. When I received the phone call from The Daily Record, I nearly dropped my phone and was in total shock with my jaw hanging wide open after being told the news. I didn’t know if I was being “punked” or if it was real. I was just in total shock. I still could not believe the news of this until I saw it in physical print. Yesterday The Daily Record published the winners of the Best of the Best Readers Choice Awards 2017, and my heart just swelled up when I saw my name as the top winner for Best Photographer.
To my amazing and valued clients, friends, family, and readers of The Daily Record, I can not THANK YOU enough for your votes. I am overwhelmed both with joy and gratitude. When I started my photography business 7+ years ago, I didn’t know where this new chapter, business journey and adventure would take me. I have met so many wonderful people along the way. I have the great honor and privilege of capturing and creating art for YOUR most cherished moments in life and preserving them for all time for you to reflect on at any time. I have meet and worked with amazing fellow business men and women who go out their way to collaborate with me which have created some amazing events and images. I have had the honor of working with wonderful charities to help them bring awareness to their causes. I have had the great honor to meet, be taught by, and learn from some of the most outstanding, famous, trail blazing photographers in this field. Photographers who’s work define and shape this industry and I can only hope and dream to aspire to their level of greatness. And finally to my friends and family who have supported and encouraged me on this business journey. There is nothing harder, more challenging, or more rewarding than owning your own business and they have been my sounding board, my experimental subjects, my listening ears, my truth tellers, my advice givers, and my most earnest supporters.
