About Rosaria
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.” – Audrey Hepburn
When it comes to Maternity Portraits, there is nothing more beautiful than capturing an expectant mom and her little bundle of joy. Expectant moms really do have a glow about them.
Maternity Portraits not only capture this incredible miracle you are carrying, but they leave a legacy for you’re soon to be born baby. Both my children are fascinated to see photographs of me while I carried them. It makes them feel special and cherished, and they show just how much I could not wait to meet them and love them forever.
I invite you to a Maternity Portrait Session with me, to stop time just for a short while, to be pampered, and create timeless portraits that both you and your family with cherish for years and generations to come.

Maternity Portrait FAQs
When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
I know it’s not always comfortable…the cramps, the bloating, the swelling…oh my not feeling so amazing?! It’s ok. My job as a photographer is to make you look and feel amazing for just about an hour. Then you can throw your legs up and eat chocolate the rest of the day! As a Mama of 2 kids I know how it feels to be pregnant! I also know why I had pregnancy photos taken…it wasn’t for me, but for the generation following behind. I want my children to know how proud I was to be called their Mother and what a privilege carrying them was.
The best time to schedule your pregnancy session is around 28-34 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round. This will vary with each women – and some women who carry small, or gain little weight may choose to wait until they are 36-38 weeks. You want to come when you feel good, have a nice belly but before the downward venture begins! Other women who are growing a bit more rapidly, may choose to come around 28-32 weeks. The idea is to come when you are nice and comfortable and have a nice round belly. It is best to schedule at least 2 to 3 months in advance.
What do I wear to my Maternity Session?
Upon scheduling a session, we can discuss suggestions as to what to wear/bring. Such items can include jewelry, accessories, ultrasound photos, hats, scarfs, boy shorts and even cute boots! Many pregnant clients opt to go barefoot.
For Men we suggest solid and simple clothing. We want them to be very comfortable as well. Little boys should be similar to Dad and both are welcome to bring light and dark shirts. Light patterns or textures are ok. And lastly, for little girls the options are plenty.
General Session Information
Maternity Sessions can take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. We leave plenty of time for the type of session that is present at the studio, and we ask clients to come in and just relax.
During your photo session, we can experiment with different positions, alternate people in the pose, use different props and clothing changes. The idea is to capture the moment, and make it last a lifetime! Rosaria’s style is relaxed and natural.
To arrange a photography session, please call our studio. It is best to schedule your session at least 3 to 4 months in advance of your due date. When you call us, we will discuss details of the session, number of people involved, location, clothing, pricing and what type of prints you wish to receive after the session. During this time, we will answer any questions you have and will also be available after the initial contact should you have further questions before your session date.
Please be sure to book early, as Rosaria’s schedule is very limited.
If the session is to be held at a public location, Rosaria will arrange to meet at a designated spot at the time scheduled. She will give you her cellular phone number in case there is a delay on either end. If the session involves a child, please have any drinks or snacks on hand that the child likes.
